Losses

Wow, it's been a rough week for the entertainment world
First Ed McMahon, then Farrah Fawcett and now Michael Jackson.

I always wanted Ed McMahon to knock on my door after the superbowl to give me my big check from publishers clearing house......I always knew that would never happen.

I always thought Farrah Fawcett was beautiful. I was a faithful watcher of Charlies Angels, (my favorite was Kate Smith) but I liked all three of them. It was a good show. Miss Fawcett was a very good actress.

What to say about Michael Jackson? I started watching him when he was five and singing with the Jackson Five. He's had a long career. He is an awesome dancer and a great singer. I just love his videos. (And, no, I never believed all the crap about him.....neither apparently, did the courts). He was getting ready to do his final curtain call in England, ironic isn't it?
Awww, the great ones always die young......

Graduation 09

Well, it was the big day! We had an awesome time.
I am so proud of my grandson. And this was the
best picture taken that day.

He is the first in a few generations (on both sides)
to graduate, so it was even more special.

Ah, the stress! The Pride! The sheer joy of it all!

Senior Prom

Wow, we had a fantastic weekend with my grandson Anthony's senior prom on Saturday. His date's name is Tiffany.

The kids had a blast and we had a lot of fun too. We went and took pictures on the bridge over the river and in the square downtown. The excitement at both places with all the people was very infectious. There were so many young people all dressed up and it seemed like all the family members were there with them. I loved it.

I am so proud of Anthony for just making it this far in school.

I guess I have grown a little tired of the computer this week.
